Accelerated mobile pages (AMP)

A web component framework launched by Google that developers can use to create mobile webpages that load almost instantly and provide a cleaner user experience. Pages using AMP load faster because AMP restricts the use of certain HTML tags, types of CSS, and JavaScript. This means that loading the pages uses less data than loading normal pages. Google keeps a cache of all of the pages created on AMP so that Google itself can load the page it has a copy of — without needing to get the content of the page from another source.
